40th Anniversary Charity Ball
The Women’s Centre of Jamaica Foundation (WCJF) will host a Black-Tie Charity Ball on May
26, 2018, at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, in celebration of forty (40) years of service to Jamaica.
The Charity Ball is designed to attract a wide cross section of corporate entities, and to secure
their interest, and input, in the work of the WCJF as it seeks to empower adolescent mothers to
transform their lives through advanced education.
The Charity Ball will be held under the distinguished patronage of the Honourable Olivia
Grange, Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, who will also launch a new
initiative named: Advancement of Secondary, Tertiary, and Remedial Education for Adolescent
Mothers (A-STREAM Programme). Ms. Victoria Rowell, American writer, actress, and
producer, will be the key note speaker at the event.
Tickets are available upon request at a cost of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00)
