Commemorative IWD service, Faith Cathedral Deliverance Centre
KINGSTON – The Women's Centre of Jamaica Foundation (WCJF) along with representatives from the Ministry of National Security, Bureau of Gender Affairs, Ministry of Education, Youth and Information and the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment & Sports (MCGES) made a special appearance at Faith Cathedral Deliverance Centre, on Sunday.
The service commemorated International Women's Day (IWD) and themed it on MCGES' mission to, "Unite to End Gender-Based Violence (GBV)."
The service was filled with praise and worship by the church choir, a dance performance by their Dance Ministry, and the spoken word was givien by Dr. Alma Blair, the assistant Pastor of the church.
